Top Favorite Board Games In No Particular Order

Century Series
(Golem, Eastern Mountains, Endless World)

Jordan (2020)
What Jordan enjoys most about this game:

Century is amazing!
Each of the games is simple, quick and fun - and you can combine them together to add another layer of gameplay!
With Century: Golem, you're building an engine using cards to get gemstones, and gemstones to power up golems, earning victory points.
In Century: Eastern Mountains, you're now playing a tactical game, moving your caravan to different tiles, but still all in the pursuit of gemstones, golems and victory points.
Finally, with Century: Endless Worlds, you jump into a worker placement game - sending out your meeples to different tiles, which gives you gemstones. And, as you've guessed, gemstones get golems and victory points.

Each Century game gives you a well balanced experience, where it feels like each decision matters and you're always just one move away from catching up or falling behind as other players try to claim the golems that you have your eyes on.

Jordan's favorite memory of this game:

Even though I love each game in the Century Series (well, maybe not so much for Eastern Mountains - still good, just not my personal favorite of the three) one of the coolest things is that you can combine any two or all three of them together!
And, even better, it just adds to the options you have without making the game take too long.
Is it better to play a card or send a meeple to get a green gemstone?
Will it be faster to move my caravan or buy that new card?
Should I recall my workers or continue to play out my card engine this turn?

Really, just an excellent gaming experience all around.
If you already enjoy games like Splendor, Azul, Gizmos or Sagrada, you definitely need to give Century a try.

Quacks

Zach
What Zach enjoys most about this game:

Having a pouch that you are pulling out your resources for the turn from is immensely satisfying. Building your pouch up with different ingredients and trying different strategies makes this fun no matter the group I play with. The new edition also has a version that comes with Acrylic tokens for your pouch which is a huge upgrade.

Zach's favorite memory of this game:

Most times playing it are fun and lead to good memories. Having to take big swings with the push-your-luck element when you're down can cause uproars when they work.

Captain Sonar

Spencer
What Spencer enjoys most about this game:

Captain Sonar is one of the best games I have ever played. If you are from the Lehi area you may have heard of the Space Center nearby and Captain Sonar is a multiplayer battleship experience that is a lot like the Space Center. You work together with your team of up to four against a team of the same size to be the last ship standing.

Spencer's favorite memory of this game:

Each player has a specific role that they must fulfill for mission success. The Captain who moves the ship, one is in charge of munitions, one is in charge of listening in on the other teams movements and so on. If manning a ship is your dream, Captain Sonar is the game for you!

Dominion

Kevin
What Kevin enjoys most about this game:

This is an all time favorite of mine! It has endless combinations of ways to play making for a fresh gaming experience every time I open the box. It is technical enough to be challenging but based on easy deck building and gameplay concepts to make it approachable by anyone! It’s easy to teach but challenging to master. It’s my favorite party deck builder game out there!

Kevin's favorite memory of this game:

I have played this with coworkers several times and each time has been more fun and chaotic than the last! This game makes for great evenings of strategy and enjoyable mayhem. We gather around the giant dominion “lazy Susan” in the play area of Game Grid Lehi, break open some drinks and treats and prepare for a great time!

The Gang

Cade
What Cade enjoys most about this game:

I really like The Gang because it’s a spin on a game people already know so getting people into it is super easy. As a co-op game I feel like it does a good job at taking poker and putting a twist on it while still keeping pokers elements. I also think that the added helper/penalty cards make it more interesting and replayable since each round will be different.

Cade's favorite memory of this game:

I’ve bought this game as a gift for some people in my family and we have all liked playing it. It’s a small box game and is pretty cheap which is nice especially for people who aren’t as familiar with card games. I was playing it with around 5 people one time and we spent all night trying to win 3 times and it was really cool when we started to understand how each other responded to their dealt hand so we could eventually win.

Flip 7

Abi & Arrow
What Abi enjoys most about this game:

Whether you're looking for a casual game to play with family at a large gathering, or hardcore gamers looking for a refreshing palette cleanser between heavier games, I can't sing this game's praises enough.  It's a delightfully simple push-your-luck game that's full of the craziest swings imaginable.

Play it safe, and you'll score barely any points and lose. Play it too risky, and you'll bust out and lose.  But finding that perfect balance of when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em makes it a game you won't be walking away from for a long time.

Arrow's favorite memory of this game:

The first time I played Flip 7 I managed to flip 7 different number cards (scoring bonus points and ending the round) 3 times, despite this, I did not win. It's as fun to go all in and try your luck as it is to watch everything crumble around you, and even more fun when you get to mess with your friends by freezing them or flipping some extra cards to make them bust.

Recommended for anyone who loves:

Family Games - (Catan, Ticket to Ride, etc...)
Card Games - (Scum, Dalmuti, Uno, etc...)
Party Games - (Telestrations, Code Names, Apples to Apples, etc...)
